Accounts reimporting as "In Dispute" as the status instead of allowing for Reason&Direction drop menu

The new work flow for accounts that we're still in the dispute process for is not user friendly. The account should automatically have a drop down menu to add this rounds reason and desired direction.
The system is not automatically working as it before is extremely time consuming to manually change each account we're still in the process of redisputing. It also created a lot of room for error since we can easily miss an account that isn't highlighted in red as before. Please help
