In the credit repair industry, federal law (CROA) does not allow companies to charge customers before any work is performed. Charging $49.99 immediately at signup could violate these laws.
Because of that, the flow is intentionally set up to not charge right away, even though the price is shown. This same approach is used by large, established credit repair companies like Lexington Law, The Credit Pros, and other major firms to stay compliant.
The goal is to be transparent about pricing while still following the law and protecting both the business and the customer.
We’re definitely open to additional feedback if you have ideas on how to make the pricing or messaging clearer without triggering an upfront charge.
