Duplicate inquiry prevention –
Once an inquiry is matched, it's locked - so you'll never see the same inquiry appear twice under slightly different names.

Improved inquiry name matching –
The system now validates lender names using intelligent thresholds, handling Equifax's frequent name variations (like "ALLYFINANC" vs. "ALLY FINANCIAL") without creating false matches.

Cleaner inquiry records overall –
Incomplete records with missing dates are now excluded from matching entirely, so only accurate data drives your dispute workflow.
Heads up - one-time cleanup

During your next import cycle, you may see some extra inquiry deletions as the system clears out previously duplicated records. This is a one-time cleanup. After one full report cycle, everything will be accurate and stable going forward.
We know re-import accuracy matters across all tradeline types, and improvements to other tradelines are coming. Stay tuned.
